Marc Pursals studied law in his hometown Barcelona, but was later drawn towards the new conference and events industry that developed after the Olympics in 1992. Working for leading Spanish agencies Viajes Iberia Congresos and Ultramar Event Management, Marc has organised and promoted events for the medical, pharmaceutical and scientific sectors. In 1995, he first worked with JL ICS as the local DMC in Spain and has collaborated with ICS extensively since then. Marc has a considerable range of experience in the operational/logistical aspects of conference management and, essentially, having managed client accounts as well, is able to work within tight budgets and meet client expectations. Marc joined JL ICS officially in January 2010.
