Grit Schoenherr [Conference Manager]

Grit Schoenherr

I started as the Speaker Manager for one of our biggest conferences. I took care of our Keynote Speaker as well as all Abstract Presenters to ensure they received the best service possible. Now as a Conference Manager at ICS I manage all aspects of my assigned conferences. It is always so exciting to grow with a project and to work towards a successful and smooth running conference with all its challenges on the way. My career began with working for one of the biggest private coach companies in Germany. Planning and organizing transportation and logistics for events ranging from 100 to 10,000 people and working with different clients and people were only a few things I really enjoyed. The most challenging event I worked on was the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2006 in Germany. I was responsible for all official transportation needs (Teams, VIP, Referees etc.).

Kerstin Hofmann [Assistant Project Manager]

Kerstin Hofmann

After my work and travel year in Canada, which I completed prior to university, I knew that I wanted to work in an international environment. I went on to complete my degree in Business and Management (with the majors International Economics and Event Management) which helped form the foundation for my career in the meetings industry. During my program, I gained additional knowledge through projects, excursions and presentations. Following my studies, I worked in the Events Department of an association and am now supporting the ICS team in Vienna. I look forward to working on challenging projects both in Europe and internationally.
